Teaching Coordinator – Interior Design School £22.5k

An amazing position for a Teaching Coordinator has occurred to join this high profile design school in the cool and trendy Chelsea Harbour area of London. With a prestigious teaching fraternity and an exciting range of world leading courses within both Interior and Garden Design, our Client has earned an enviable reputation for their unique style and creative flair alongside an immensely friendly, fun and supportive culture.

The Coordinator works as part of the team responsible for administrating and supporting the day-to-day running of the colleges courses. This is a really exciting role where no two days will be the same! This is a three-fold position where you will be responsible for all administrative support, academic support to the students and also assisting in tutoring the lessons.

The majority of your time will be spent on administrative support where you will plan and provide all necessary materials, update timetables and course booklets, oversee bookings and assist with budgeting. You will have great attention to detail to ensure all schedules are coordinated, all documentation is proof read and that students and tutors are kept up to date at all times.

The teaching element of this role is an assistant position with the exception of one-to-one tutorials where the Coordinator will be required to lead sessions. You will help with preparation of lesson plans, review teaching materials and assist in tutoring lessons and seminars. You will make sure all documentation is correct and up to date prior to tutorials and you will take responsibility for arranging debriefs and taking feedback post course completion.

You will also provide academic support to the students, by phone, email and in person. You will maintain regular contact with groups and provide careers advice so you will be friendly and approachable. You will be a true ‘people person’ and will enjoy nurturing students’ personal and academic development.

You will occasionally be required to attend Open Evenings, Exhibitions and some Saturday workshops, so some flexibility is required.

The perfect candidate will have at least 2 years solid experience within a coordination role, ideally within an educational environment. It is absolutely essential that you have an Interior Design Qualification as you will be required to draw on your technical experience on a daily basis. Your training will ideally have involved technical drawing, lighting plans, putting together sample boards and you will have a solid knowledge of interior design history.

Based in stunning East London studios, this prestigious interior design agency is looking for a truly brilliant career PA to join their team! Working with some of London’s most high profile restaurants, this agency has a truly enviable client list!

You will support two busy Directors in their daily diary, travel and meeting management. You will be incredibly organised and be an accomplished gate keeper, as these Directors are in high demand! Your duties will include organising extensive international travel itineraries, coordinating two busy diaries simultaneously and being the true eyes and ears for the Directors. Excitingly, you will also get the opportunity to get involved in some Social Networking projects, so the ideal candidate for this role will have some previous experience of using platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Some previous HR experience would also be highly advantageous. There will be some personal PA work involved too, so our client is really looking for a candidate who is flexible and adaptable.

You will have at least 3 years solid PA experience within a creative agency, have excellent Microsoft Office skills and experience of using CRM would be a distinct advantage. Project Analyst – Big Brand! Up to £35k

My client is a high profile entertainment co based in West London looking for an outstanding co-ordinator to join their Corporate Responsibility team.

The aim of this role is to ensure safe, inclusive and respectful workplaces wherever branded items are made on behalf of this company. You will be in daily contact with Europe, the Middle East & Africa ensuring that vendors throughout the region are aware of and are meeting the high standards of this well known brand.

You will act as a point of contact, gather all documentation and maintain an extensive internal database. You will have excellent communications skills and feel comfortable advising vendors on the telephone as you will be the first port of call for all enquiries. You will be a natural born problem solver as you will resolve ongoing inquiries from licensees, retailers, vendors, licensing managers, and other local and regional offices on a daily basis. You will use your great communication skills regularly as you will be required to meet with external and internal stakeholders to educate them on the requirements of the company’s standards program. You will enjoy taking control of projects as you will be involved at every stage of the process from taking an initial inquiry brief right through to ensuring that correspondence is sent, tracked and returned. You will have great analytical skills as you will assist in the preparation of key management reports and oversee KPI reporting.

The perfect person for this role will be ethically aware, educated to degree level and have at least 5 years strong relevant experience in a similar role. They would have ideally worked for an FMCG, Government Organisation or International bran. Significant work experience in an autonomous role in administration, customer service, legal, finance, compliance or supply chain management would be highly desirable. You absolutely must be trained to an advanced level in Excel and experience with Lotus Notes or other databases would be highly desirable. Ideally, you will have experience in Corporate Responsibility programmes, back office functions, contract processes or brand management in a large international company. It would be highly beneficial if you have had experience of working with non-English speaking clients by phone and email. Experience of working in a customer-facing environment within a complex organization is an absolute must! Fluency in a second language such as Russian, German or Arabic would be highly desirable.
