It's officially summer in Hatty Blue's office... The team spent Saturday at Ascot, Wimbledon has started, and the sun is finally shining. To get in the spirit, we're tucking into strawberries and cream at our desks...

We were interested to see the REC newsflash this week that an agreement had been made in Brussels on the EU Agency Workers Directive. This means that, from as early as April 2010, temps will have the right to the same pay as an equivalent permanent workers. This should kick in after 12 weeks of an assignment. Great news for Hatty's temping team.
